MICRO Under 5 Under 4 |
· This is a non competitive mixed (boys and girls) division and teams will be created on a random basis with a concerted effort to assign equal (where numbers permit) numbers of boys and girls and older and younger children on each team. · All participants in this division will receive participant medals. · Teams play 4 v 4 micro soccer with no goalie. · The program runs from October 2011 to April 2012. . |

Under 7 Division |
· This is a non competitive mixed (boys and girls) division and teams will be created on a random basis with a concerted effort to assign equal (where numbers permit) numbers of boys and girls and older and younger children on each team. · All participants in this division will receive participant medals. · Teams play 5 v 5 including the goalkeeper. · The U7 season runs from October 2011 to April 2012. |

Under 9 Division and Up |
· Players registering for U9 and older will be placed on an initial balancing team shortly after registering. Players will be evaluated and balanced teams formed for the season. Balancing starts on October 11, 2012. No scores or standings for U9 divisions. · The regular season commences in mid -October and runs through to March Break. · Playoffs commence after March break and will be completed by mid-April. The winners of each regular season age division and the winners of the playoff finals in each age division will receive trophies and the runners up in each case will receive medals. · Play is governed by MSC’s Rules, Policies and Procedures: o U9 is mixed teams, all other divisions: separate for girls and boys teams. o Maximum 7 players per side in all games, including the goal keeper for U9 and U11 divisions o Maximum 6 players per side in all games, including the goal keeper, for U12 and older divisions o Equal playing time for all players

Long Term Player Development
Across Ontario the OSA is introducing the " Long Term Player Development" Plan. As stated by the OSA the goal "is to make the game more fun than ever before for the recreational player and to provide better development opportunities than ever before for those with aspirations for a future in the sport.
