Directors:
Mahmoud Gaffoor (U8-U10)
Paul Gardham (U12- U19)

What is provided
Shorts, socks, shirts and a full-season program.

Nights and times
One practice and one game are scheduled between Monday and Thursday.  For the internal house league groups U8 – U12 there are generally two time slots per night (e.g. 6:30-7:30 and 7:30-8:30). Teams rotate throughout these two times (i.e., they don't have a fixed time).

The season
Most divisions start about the second week of May and finish the first or second week of September.  U19 have a season ending 2 day tournament two weekends before the Labour Day weekend.

For U12 - U19, there is a regular season and a play-off round.  Games have referees, and standings are kept.  Trophies are provided for league and play-off winners and runners-up.

U8 - U10 have a regular season with referees. No standings are kept and there will be medallions for all participants at a season ending tournament.

The divisions and teams for boys and girls are separate.

The four references below explain how we run our recreational house league. All coaches must understand how they pertain to their division's teams and players.  All Parents are encouraged to read the first one. Parents of players up to U12 should also read the LTPD FAQs.

Long Term Player Development

Across Ontario the OSA is introducing the " Long Term Player Development" Plan.  As stated by the OSA the goal "is to make the game more fun than ever before for the recreational player and to provide better development opportunities than ever before for those with aspirations for a future in the sport.  LTPD is a key aspect of ensuring that will happen."  For further information on the LTPD, please click on the logo.
